The Fort Collins Police Department has provided an update in a homicide on Mangold Lane. Around 11:15 p.m. on March 9, 2024, Fort Collins 911 received a call from someone reporting that a person had been shot at the apartments in the 700 block of Mangold Lane.

At the scene, officers attempted life-saving efforts on an adult male victim. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. Detectives believe the shooting was gang-related. On March 11, 2024, FCPD provided an update saying the suspect in the homicide is Adrian Pacheco.

A warrant for First Degree Murder has been issued for Pacheco’s arrest. Detectives have been looking for the suspect but he has not been located at this time. Anyone who sees him is urged to call 911 immediately. Pacheco is considered armed and dangerous.
