The Charles County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting at a business on Leonardtown Road. According to CCSO, deputies responded to a business in the 3600 block of Leonardtown Road for a report of a shooting around 2:30 p.m. on March 11, 2024.

At the scene, responding deputies found a person with a gunshot wound to the leg. CCSO said the shooting occurred in the parking lot behind the business. The suspects reportedly fled the scene in a dark vehicle. At this time, the motive of the shooting is not known.
