The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office has announced an additional arrest in the fatal shooting of 41-year-old Ronnie Albea. The shooting occurred on August 5, 2022 in the Wal-Mart parking lot at 6020 Harrison Road. On April 26, 2023, BCSO announced that it had apprehended a suspect in the case. Investigators identified an 18-year-old male as a suspect in the fatal shooting.

On April 25, 2023 just before 11 a.m., Elijiah Dewayne Gray was taken into custody without incident at a residence in the 200 block of Clisby Place. In a later update, BCSO investigators said they identified 20-year-old Mycco Vachion Gray as a suspect in the shooting.

On March 5, 2024, Mycco Gray was taken into custody following a brief foot pursuit at a residence in the 70 block of Short Street. Mycco Gray is charged with Murder and Hijacking of a Motor Vehicle.
