The Fort Worth Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting. Around 10:15 p.m. on March 2, 2024, FWPD officers responded to the 2900 block of Crockett Street to investigate a shooting. At the scene, officers found a male suffering from a gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to an area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the victim as 29-year-old Bryson Rodgers. FWPD said the suspect had fled the scene before officers arrived. No further details are available at this time.
