The Collier County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a suspect in an overnight homicide. According to CCSO, the warrant charges 33-year-old Vicente Ramirez with second-degree murder. Around 2:32 a.m., CCSO deputies responded to El Catrin Sports Bar and Nightclub at 12275 Collier Boulevard regarding two people who had been stabbed.

At the scene, deputies found two male victims. The first victim had been stabbed up to seven times in the neck and upper torso. The second victim had been stabbed multiple times in the abdomen and back. Both victims were transported to an area hospital. The first victim succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.

Detectives say they identified Ramirez as the perpetrator during their investigation. Ramirez is a convicted felon from California who has a prior for home invasion robbery.
