Detectives with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department are currently investigating a murder suicide that happened earlier this morning. Around 12:11 a.m. on March 2, 2024, dispatch received a report of gunfire at an apartment complex in the 3000 block of South Decatur Boulevard.

At the scene, responding officers found two male adults suffering from apparent gunshot wounds inside an apartment. Both men were pronounced deceased at the scene. LVMPD Homicide Detectives say the men were involved in a verbal dispute. One man shot the victim before shooting himself.

The Clark County Coroner’s Office will identify the individuals and the causes and manners of death.
