The Prince George’s County Police Department is investigating a triple shooting that occurred around 9:30 p.m. in the 6900 block of Stansbury Lane. Officers responded to the scene where they found two adults and a child inside a home suffering from gunshot wounds.

PGPD said in a social media post that an adult male and female child were pronounced deceased at the scene. An adult female was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries. According to the preliminary information, detectives do not believe the crime was random.

There is no ongoing threat to the community. No further details are available at this time.
