Baltimore County Police Violent Crimes detectives have announced the arrest of a suspect in a non-fatal shooting that occurred on Monday. Around 6 a.m. on February 26, 2024, Dundalk Precinct officers responded to the 7900 block of Trappe Road for a report of a shooting.

At the scene, officers found a 32-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. 47-year-old George Gonsalves was arrested and remains at the Baltimore County Detention Center without bond.

He is charged with attempted first-degree murder, first-degree assault, and other firearms-related charges.
