Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre announced that a shooting had occurred on Tuesday and injured a teenage boy. According to a media release, detectives are asking for the public’s help in the investigation. Deputies responded to a 911 call regarding a shooting on Karla Drive in Thibodaux around 6 p.m. on February 20, 2024.

Authorities say the teen victim drove himself to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The victim was shot while driving on the street. No other details are available at this time.
