The Maryland State Police said in a media release that it is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in Wicomico County on Friday evening. Around 8:10 p.m., MSP responded to the 900 block of North Division Street in Salisbury.

MSP said the preliminary investigation indicates that the victim was walking down the street when he was shot multiple times. The male victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. The victim’s identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
