The Worcester Police Department is investigating a fatal stabbing. According to a social media post from WPD, officers responded to a Douglas Street apartment for an unknown emergency around 5:11 p.m. on February 14, 2024. At the scene, officers found a female stabbing victim.

Medical aid was rendered and the victim was transported to an area hospital where she succumbed to her injuries. WPD said a male was placed under arrest at the scene. Since the incident is domestic in nature, WPD is not releasing identifying information for the victim of the male in custody.
