The Houston Police Department has announced the arrest of a suspect in a March 2021 shooting. Around 9:30 a.m. on March 12, 2021, a man was fatally shot at 838 Green Meadow Lane. 48-year-old Wallick Eli Thompson is charged with murder in the death of 35-year-old William Satterfield.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Duncan and Detective L. Lovelace explain that officers found the victim unresponsive behind a residence at the aforementioned address. Concrete mix was found on the man’s upper body. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

On November 30, 2023, Thompson was charged for his role in the incident. On February 10, 2024, he was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail.
