The Allegheny County Police Department is investigating a homicide in Baldwin Borough. According to ACPD, County 911 received a notification of a shooting in the 5400 block of Youngridge Drive around 4:32 p.m. on February 9, 2024. At the scene, first responders found an adult female victim with multiple gunshot wounds inside her apartment.

The victim succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. Homicide detectives responded to initiate an investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call the County Police Tip Line at 1-833-ALL-TIPS.
