The Albuquerque Police Department has announced an arrest in the fatal stabbing of 73-year-old Fred Tapia. According to a social media post from APD, detectives arrested Jesus Secatero in connection to the January 27 stabbing death of Tapia.

APD said the stabbing occurred during a confrontation in front of a cannabis dispensary. Jesus’s brother, Antonio Secatero, is also wanted on charges of murder in relation to the murder of Fred Tapia.
