The Stockton Police Department has announced that an officer was involved in an officer-involved shooting. Around 8 p.m. on February 4, 2024, officers responded to the 1600 block of East Bianchi Road for a report of a disturbance involving a male armed with a knife.

At the scene, officers located an adult male armed with a knife. At some point, an officer-involved shooting occurred. The male was hit and transported to an area hospital. The man’s condition is not known at this time.

SPD said a female victim suffered a stab wound and was also taken to an area hospital. Her condition is not known. No officers were injured in this incident.
