The Baltimore Police Department said in a media release that it is investigating a shooting on February 3, 2024. Around 5:44 p.m., officers responded to a local hospital to investigate after a shooting victim walked in. At the hospital, officers found a 32-year-old male suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

BPD said the preliminary investigation indicates that the victim was shot in the 1500 block of Carswell Street. Eastern District Shooting detectives responded to take over the investigation. No other details are available at this time.
