The Victorville Police Department has announced an arrest of a woman after she allegedly attempted to run over a security guard at a local hospital. Around 1:25 p.m. on February 2, 2024, dispatch received a call from the Victor Valley Hospital after a woman driving a black Toyota Corolla attempted to run over a security guard near the emergency room and fled the scene.

Once deputies arrived, the female suspect had returned and drove straight toward a deputy’s vehicle, according to authorities. The suspect, who was identified as Lynn Duenaslujan, drove around the vehicle before fleeing the scene. Authorities say she refused to yield so a pursuit was initiated.

Deputies used a PIT maneuver to stop the suspect near the Victorville Courthouse. Duenaslujan was taken into custody without incident. She was booked into the High Desert Detention Center where she remains in custody on $100,000 bail.
