The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting Thursday night on Saybrook Avenue. Just before 11 p.m. on February 1, 2024, officers responded to the 5200 block of Saybrook Avenue for a report of a shooting. At the scene, officers found a 46-year-old male suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased. Homicide detectives have assumed control of the investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact detectives at 410-396-2100 or Crime Stoppers at 1-866-LOCKUP.
