The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a double shooting with one fatality. Around 6:17 p.m. on January 26, 2024, officers responded to a shooting in the 5200 block of Garden Lane. At the scene, officers found two individuals suffering from gunshot wounds.

The victims were transported to an area hospital. One victim succumbed to their injuries while the other remains in critical condition. LVMPD Homicide Section investigators believe the victims were inside a garage at a home in the 5200 block of Greene Lane when two suspects approached them and robbed them at gunpoint

The suspects fled on foot. They were chased by the victims to the 5200 block of Garden Lane where a physical altercation occurred and both victims were shot. The investigation is ongoing. No one is in custody at this time.
