The Billings Police Department is investigating a hit-and-run that happened around 9:37 p.m. on January 24, 2024. BPD received a report of a hit-and-run at King Avenue East and Parkway Lane. The victim vehicle had reportedly followed the suspect who left the scene.

The victim informed authorities that they believed the suspect had fired a weapon from the vehicle. Around 10:20 p.m., officers located the suspect vehicle in the 300 block of Jackson Street and carried out a traffic stop. Two individuals were detained.
