The Virgin Islands Police Department is investigating a non-fatal shooting that ended with an automobile crash. Around 1:41 p.m. on January 22, 2024, authorities were dispatched to Annas Retreat to investigate an auto collision and assault. According to VIPD, the victim informed detectives that they were driving their girlfriend’s vehicle when he was shot.

The victim sped off in an attempt to avoid further injury. The victim collided with two vehicles at the intersection. Virgin Islands Police say the victim did not know who fired shots at him. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
