The Orland Police Department has announced the arrest of a man who allegedly impersonated a law enforcement officer. According to OPD, 49-year-old Mark Anthony Bosques is in custody following an investigation into a suspicious incident that happened near 3250 Bruton Boulevard on January 18, 2024.

OPD said the victim was able to get away from the suspect before running from the scene. Detectives say they were able to identify the suspect as Bosques who has been charged with False Imprisonment, Impersonating a Law Enforcement Officer, and Battery.
