The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office has announced arrests in the Triple Hill Drive death investigation. On January 14, 2024, BCSO announced it was investigating a death that occurred in the 1000 block of Triple Hill Drive around 3:35 a.m. on Sunday. Deputies responded to a distress call reporting shots fired.
At the scene, deputies found a 42-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment and succumbed to his injuries. The victim was identified as 42-year-old Clifford Tyrone Browner of Macon. On January 19, 2024, the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office said it had arrested two in connection to the death of Browner.
Investigators say they were able to link 24-year-old Dequavia Pollard and 25-year-old Amore Calhoun to the shooting death. Both were taken into custody on Friday evening and booked into the Bibb County Jail where they’re being held without bond.
Pollard is charged with Murder and Criminal Street Gang Activity. Calhoun is charged with Murder and Criminal Street Gang Activity.
