Fairfax County Police Major Crimes Bureau detectives have announced a charge against a 14-year-old for murder in relation to the fatal stabbing in Annandale on January 14. Detectives say that the 14-year-old fatally stabbed a 17-year-old victim. During the assault, the 14-year-old reportedly lost control of the knife and was stabbed by the victim.
An 18-year-old heard the commotion and attempted to intervene only to be injured as well. A petition was obtained charging the 14-year-old male with murder. At this time, the juvenile is hospitalized and in police custody.
