The Howard County Police Department is investigating a possible murder-suicide after three people were found deceased. According to a media release from HCPD, officers responded to a residence in the 14000 block of Triadelphia Road in Glenelg on January 14 for an incident that is an apparent domestic murder-suicide.
Officers responded to the location just before 11 p.m. for a welfare check. At the scene, officers located one adult and two juveniles with gunshot wounds. All three had succumbed to their injuries.
Based on the preliminary investigation, HCPD believes that 42-year-old Christopher Zanski shot and killed his children, 17-year-old Braden Zanski and 15-year-old Hailey Zanski, before shooting and killing himself. The three lived at the residence together. There is no evidence that anyone else was involved and no motive is known.
