Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office Homicide detectives are assisting the Hawthorne Police Department with a shooting investigation that occurred around 11:27 a.m. in the 2000 block of 120th Street in Hawthorne. Two victims were found and both were transported to a local hospital.

One of the victims succumbed to their injuries. At this time, the second victim’s condition is not known. There is no additional information available.
