The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a double homicide outside the city limits of Georgetown. Around 11:45 p.m. on January 8, 2024, authorities received a 911 call about a shooting in the 300 block of County Road 317. Once Sheriff’s Deputies reached the scene, they discovered two deceased subjects inside the residence.

WCSO said one suspect was taken into custody. Detectives are on the scene. People are being asked to avoid the area as the investigation continues. There is no threat to the public.
