The Metropolitan Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a puppy that was stolen on Sunday. According to DC Police, the victim parked their vehicle in the 1000 block of U Street Northwest around 7:48 p.m. on January 7, 2024. The victim left their puppy inside the vehicle.
A short time later, the victim returned to their vehicle and found the rear window broken and the puppy missing. The puppy is a 10-week-old brown French Bulldog named Dak. DC police have released a photo of the puppy to help aid in its recovery.
