The Ocala Police Department is searching for 31-year-old Kadrian Lewuan Clayton for first-degree attempted murder. Around 1:30 a.m. on January 6, 2024, Ocala Police responded to the Berkeley Pointe Apartments at 2833 Northeast 7th Street in reference to a shooting. At the scene, police found a crime scene in the parking lot.

The victim and suspect were no longer at the scene. A short time later, a victim arrived at the hospital with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. Detectives say they determined that there was probable cause to arrest Clayton.
