The Montgomery Police Department announced charges against two people in connection to the death of 21-year-old Larry Wright Jr. Around 2:55 p.m. on January 4, 2024, MPD and Fire Medics responded to the 6800 block of Eastchase Parkway in response to a person shot. At the scene, Larry Wright was found with a fatal gunshot wound and was pronounced deceased.

The Montgomery Police Department has charged 23-year-old Jaden Waters and 19-year-old Myeesha Townsend with Capital Murder. Both were identified as suspects and taken into custody. They were booked in the Montgomery County Detention Facility with no bond.
