The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is dealing with a barricaded suspect situation after a suspect fired shots at a deputy constable. According to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, SWAT is responding to an apartment complex at 12655 Kuykendahl Road. Precinct 4 Deputy Constables responded to the Augusta North Houston Apartments after a report of a male firing shots.

At the scene, the male began firing shots at the deputy constable. As additional units and Harris County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrived, the male continued firing more shots at authorities. At this time, there have been no reported injuries. The suspect is believed to be barricaded in a unit and may have other people with him, according to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.
