The Green County Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest of 37-year-old Timothy J. Smith of Republic. Smith is charged with Unlawful Use of a Weapon and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon in relation to a shooting incident that occurred at the Barnhouse venue at 5485 West US Highway 60 on January 1.

At this time, Smith is being held in the Greene County Jail on a $30,000 bond. Detectives say the investigation is ongoing as they continue to follow up on leads. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Sheriff’s Office tip line at 417-829-6230.
