The Westminster Police Department is investigating a double shooting on West 68th Avenue. According to a news release from WPD, several 911 calls reporting a shooting at 3800 West 68th Avenue were received around 8:30 p.m. on January 1, 2024. Once officers reached the scene, they located two adult males suffering from gunshot wounds.

The victims were taken to area hospitals where one of them succumbed to their injuries. WPD believes the incident was an argument between two individuals with ties to the complex. Police do not believe there is any danger to the public.
