According to a statement from the Chicago Police Department, 52-year-old Bruce Diamond has been arrested and charged with aggravated battery. On November 13, 2023 around 2:10 PM, Diamond was arrested in the 600 block of North Michigan Avenue. Police say he was identified as the offender who threw a large object at an adult female who was struck in the head.

Police say the female victim was seriously injured. The suspect was quickly taken into custody and charged. No additional information is available at this time.
