The Madera Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred on New Year’s Eve. Around 8 p.m., officers responded to the 300 block of East 14th Street after receiving a report of shots fired. Once officers reached the scene, they found an adult male victim suffering from a gunshot wound.
