The Winston County Sheriff’s Office has announced that a 33-year-old Double Springs man has been charged with capital murder in the death of his infant daughter. According to a social media post from the Sheriff’s Office, 33-year-old Shannon Lee Stewart is charged with capital murder in the death of his two-month-old daughter Amasia Faith Stewart.

The Sheriff’s Office said more charges are pending and more information will be released at a later time.
