The Hermosa Beach Police Department has nabbed a suspect involved in a smash-and-grab burglary at STRAND Electric Bikes. On December 30, a citizen observed a suspect smash the window of a local bicycle shop. The suspect entered the business and stole a high-end bicycle, according to the Hermosa Beach Police Department.

HBPD officers quickly reached the scene and arrived within a minute of the initial broadcast. Officers gathered information from the witness before carrying out a search of the area. A short time later, the suspect was taken into custody and the property was returned to the business owner.
