The Aurora Police Department is investigating a fatal hit and run crash on Friday night. Around 10:30 p.m., Aurora officers responded to a report of a crash near the intersection of East Alameda Avenue and South Fraser Court. Upon arrival, officers located an adult female who succumbed to her injuries at the scene.

The suspect vehicle left the scene before police arrived. The Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office will identify the deceased at a later time. Investigators believe the victim was killed in a hit-and-run crash.
