A residence in the 4000 block of W. Mary Circle was broken into on December 22, 2023, around 8:45 a.m. According to a social media post from the Santa Ana Police Department, the burglary occurred after the victim left for work.

Surveillance footage revealed a female knocking on the door while a male forced his way into the house via a bathroom window. The suspects ransacked the bedrooms before leaving in a silver Kia Sorento SUV.

The owner reported a medium-sized safe, jewelry, and $130,000 in U.S. currency stolen. A black Audie with a temporary license plate CG27C82 in the area is believed to be involved in the incident.

The suspects disabled the electricity and video surveillance inside the residence before entry. The surveillance devices were destroyed.

Detectives believe the female suspect is of Middle Eastern or Eastern European descent, between 20 and 30 years of age, and medium build. The male suspect was wearing a face mask and dark clothing.
