Houston Police looking for Hispanic female involved in random stabbing and another assault

The Houston Police Department is searching for a Hispanic female in her early 40s who is accused of being involved in two random assaults. Police have released surveillance video of the woman who allegedly stabbed a man at 4400 Bettis Drive on December 9 and assaulted another man at 4323 San Felipe Street on December 14.

On December 9, a 63-year-old male victim was walking on Bettis Drive in an alley behind a business when he was approached from behind by the female suspect. The female was armed with a knife and stabbed the victim in the face for no apparent reason. The victim informed police that the suspect walked away without saying anything. The victim was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

On December 14, a 30-year-old male was walking to his vehicle in the parking lot at 4323 San Felipe Street. The woman approached him from behind and struck him on the right side of the head with a sharp object. The female suspect walked away from the victim without saying anything. The victim was treated at the scene.

Detectives say they have determined that the same woman is responsible for both incidents. Anyone with information should contact the HPD Major Assaults Division at 713-308-8800 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
