The Seal Beach Police Department is investigating after two adults were found deceased in a residence. Around 8:30 a.m. on December 27, 2023, officers with the Seal Beach Police Department responded to the 600 block of Ocean Avenue in response to a call regarding unknown trouble at the residence.

Police say an out-of-state relative phoned dispatch to report their brother was having issues with their elderly mother. At the scene, officers were unable to make contact with anyone inside the home. The door was unlocked so officers made entry to conduct a welfare check.

Inside the home, SBDP officers found two adults deceased. Detectives and the Orange County Coroner responded to the residence to investigate. Anyone with information is asked to contact Sergeant Gibson at 562-799-4100 extension 1128.
