The Harris County Sheriff’s Office has responded to an incident in the 20700 block of Live Oak near US-90. According to authorities, it is believed that a disturbance occurred between two adult stepbrothers over a car battery. At some point during the argument, one of the stepbrothers shot the other with a crossbow.

The wounded man was transported by Life Flight in critical condition. One man has been detained. HCSO investigators are responding to the scene.
