The Pomona Police Department is investigating the shooting of a juvenile on West Mission Boulevard. Around 9:22 p.m. on December 26, 2023, dispatch took a call that reported a male suffering from gunshot wounds in the 1300 block of West Mission Boulevard. Authorities found the victim at the scene before they were transported to an area hospital.

PPD says the victim is currently in critical condition. Investigators with the Major Crimes Unit responded to the scene to investigate.
