The Memphis Police Department is searching for the suspect who fatally shot Laneshia Bledsoe on December 24, 2023. On that day around 3:31 a.m., officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 1600 block of East Holmes Road. At the scene, officers located Laneshia Bledsoe with gunshot wounds.

The victim was taken to an area hospital where she passed away. Video surveillance captured the individual believed to be responsive in the area of East Holmes and Hudgins Road. Memphis Police are asking for help identifying this individual.
