The Memphis Police Department is searching for the vehicle and suspect involved in a fatal hit and run crash that killed a pedestrian. Around 1:46 p.m. on October 27, 2023, officers with MPD responded to the area of South Perkins Road and Judy Lynn Avenue in response to a fatal hit and run accident. Officers were informed that a dark-colored SUV hit a pedestrian and left the scene traveling south on South Perkins Road.

The pedestrian who was struck was pronounced deceased. The vehicle involved in the crash had hood and front-end damage. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 528-CASH.
