The Winfield Police Department is searching for two suspects who damaged homes in the area. On December 26, 2023, Winfield Police Department officers responded to a home on 3rd Street that had two windows broken with chunks of asphalt and a cinder block. Officers responded to a second house on East Main Street that had siding damage and broken windows from chunks of asphalt.

Police say they determined that vandalism had taken place between the hours of 1:00 and 3:00 a.m. WPD received information that two males wearing all black were seen around East Main Street around this time. The suspects are possibly juveniles.
