A 24-year-old female is in custody following a two-month investigation into the death of an 8-month-old girl. Nichole Ann Green was charged with endangering a child and murder on December 26, 2023.

Officers with the Waco Police Department responded to the 900 block of Camp Drive to investigate the questionable death of a child.

An autopsy determined the 8-month-old child died from the toxic effects of methamphetamine.
