The Metropolitan Police has announced that a teenager has been arrested in connection to the death of a woman in Bermondsey. Police were called around 22:03 hours on Sunday for reports of a 22-year-old woman with a stab injury at a residence in Spenlow House on Jamaica Road SE16.

Responders provided emergency first aid, but the victim succumbed to her injuries at the scene. Following urgent enquiries, a 16-year-old was arrested nearby a short time after the incident. Police say the victim and teen were known to each other.
