A 32-year-old man was arrested on a DUI charge after passing out in an Oxnard McDonald’s drive-thru. Luis Hernandez was charged for additional firearm offenses after a loaded firearm was found in his vehicle.

Oxnard Police Department responded to 401 South Ventura Road to investigate a report of a motorist passed out behind the wheel in a McDonald’s drive-thru. Responding officers removed the driver from his truck.

Luis Hernandez was identified as a “prohibited possessor,” meaning his right to possess a firearm has not been restored. Hernandez had a previous DUI connection.
