Bullhead City Motorcyclist Facing Charges After High-Speed Crash On Highway 95

A 40-year-old man is facing charges after speeding through traffic and red lights between 90 and 100 miles per hour. Jonnie Seely was transported by air to Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

An officer with the Bullhead City Police Department spotted a BMW motorcycle traveling at a high rate of speed at approximately 9:20 p.m. on December 24, 2023, on Highway 95. The officer estimated the BMW was traveling in excess of 90 miles per hour while weaving in and out of traffic heading southbound on Highway 95.

The officer attempted a traffic stop as the BMW sped through a red light at Ramar Road on Highway 95. The BMW sped through a 40-mile-per-hour zone.

Another officer spotted the BMW in the 2100 block of Highway 95. The BMW sped through another red light at Highway 95 and Hancock Road before crashing into a Toyota Camry. The rider was ejected from the BMW motorcycle. Officers administered first aid

The 32-year-old driver and minor passenger of the Toyota Camry were uninjured.

The crash is still under investigation. Seely is facing pending charges.
